Installing Custom Maps and Locations

Add new areas to explore in GTA 5.

Prerequisites

• Map Editor or Map Builder
• Script Hook V and ScriptHookVDotNet
• Heap Adjuster (maps are resource intensive)

Method 1: Using Map Editor

1. Install Map Editor script
2. Download .xml map file
3. Place in: GTA V/scripts/AutoloadMaps/
4. Launch game, map loads automatically
5. Press F7 to open Map Editor menu

Method 2: Manual Installation (Large Maps)

1. Download custom map (e.g., Liberty City, North Yankton)
2. Extract files
3. Copy to specified location (usually dlcpacks)
4. Edit dlclist.xml
5. May require custom teleport script
