The Chrysler New Yorker 1971 is now available as a mod for GTA 5. This classic vehicle, boasting a timeless design, has been meticulously converted and optimized for the game since April 3rd, 2023. Version 1.0

This release contains detailed instructions for both the Add-On and Replace versions of the mod.

Installation Steps

Add-On Version

1. Download the mod files.
2. Extract the downloaded files to a designated folder.
3. Copy the newyorker folder into the mods/update/x64/dlcpacks directory in your GTA V game folder.
4. Edit the dlclist.xml file located in mods/update/update.rpf/common/data.
5. Add the following line: dlcpacks:/newyorker/
6. Save and close the dlclist.xml file.
7. Launch GTA V and spawn the vehicle using a trainer with the name: newyorker.

Replace Version

1. Download the mod files.
2. Extract the downloaded files to a designated folder.
3. Choose a car in the game to replace (e.g., emperor), and navigate to its directory in mods/x64e.rpf/levels/gta5/vehicles.rpf.
4. Replace the existing vehicle files (.yft and .ytd) with the files from the mod.
5. Launch GTA V and the Chrysler New Yorker 1971 should now replace the chosen vehicle in the game.
