Mercedes-Benz W115 200d + Taxi [Add-On / Replace | LODS] 1.0
Main page GTA 5 Mods Vehicles
The Mercedes-Benz W115 is a classic, front-engine, rear-drive, five-passenger sedan introduced in 1968 and manufactured until 1976. This mod features the diesel version "200d" with the "OM615" engine, modeled after the 1973 facelift. The modder used two 3D models to work with, including one with a small number of polygons from the game "Lowrider Extreme" and another with 678,700 polygons provided by IKSR.
The mod also includes a version with vintage German-style registration plates, personalized with five letters and three numbers in that order. Additionally, the mod features a nodding dog extra and a swinging car key while driving. The replace version is for a bi-color TAXI, not a full-body livery.
The mod includes changeable interior color (except TAXI), animated engine and exhaust, breakable glass, working dials and signal lights on the dashboard, hands on the wheel and foot on the pedal, correct passengers positions, working lights, doors, dirt-dust-burnt maps, correct collision, and inner glass that doesn't turn black after upgrades.
The mod also features LODs for better performance, with variations for standard and German-style registration plates. The highest LODs for the standard plates and German-style plates have 248,269 and 249,617 polygons, respectively, while the lowest have 627 polygons.
To install the mod, extract the 'w115200d' folder to the 'Grand Theft Auto V/mods/update/x64/dlcpacks' directory. Then, use OpenIV to extract the 'dlclist.xml' file to your desktop from 'Grand Theft Auto V/update/update.rpf/common/data/dlclist.xml'. Open the 'dlclist.xml' with a notepad and add the new line '< Item>dlcpacks:/w115200d/< /Item>'. Save and replace the original 'dlclist.xml' file with this one using OpenIV.
To spawn the vehicle, use a trainer and navigate to the "spawn by name" option and type "w115200d".
The mod was created by Naj Potez, with credits to IKSR and "Lowrider Extreme" for the 3D models used. Installation instructions are included in the folder with the file.
