LSPD First Response (LSPDFR) is the most popular police modification for GTA 5, transforming Los Santos into a fully interactive law enforcement sandbox. Play as a police officer, respond to 911 calls, conduct traffic stops, pursue suspects, and patrol the streets of Los Santos and Blaine County.

How to Install LSPDFR
- Disable BattlEye: In Steam, right-click GTA 5 > Properties > Launch Options > select "Play GTA V without BattlEye anti-cheat".
- Extract the ZIP: Unzip the downloaded file to a temporary folder.
- Copy files to GTA 5: Move all extracted files and folders into your GTA 5 root directory (where GTA5.exe is located). Overwrite if prompted.
- Launch via RPH: Run RAGEPluginHook.exe instead of launching GTA 5 directly.
- Go on duty: Once in-game, press F4 to open the LSPDFR menu and go on duty as a police officer.

Troubleshooting
LSPDFR crashes on startup
Make sure BattlEye is disabled. Verify your GTA 5 version matches (3751.0). Remove outdated plugins from the Plugins/LSPDFR folder.
RAGEPluginHook blocked by antivirus
Microsoft Defender may flag RPH as a false positive. Add your GTA 5 folder to Defender exclusions.
Game version mismatch
LSPDFR 0.4.9 requires GTA 5 build 3751.0. If your game auto-updated, you may need to downgrade.
Plugins not loading
Ensure plugins are in the correct folder: GTA5/Plugins/LSPDFR/. Check RPH console (F4) for errors.

Safety Note
LSPDFR modifies GTA 5 single-player only and does NOT work in GTA Online. Always launch through RAGEPluginHook.exe for single-player. Using mods in GTA Online may result in a ban from Rockstar Games.
