Type 74 Japanese MBT

Introducing the Type 74 Japanese MBT mod for Grand Theft Auto V, featuring a highly detailed rendition of the Type 74 main battle tank that was in use with the Japan Ground Self-Defense Forces.

The Type 74 MBT was introduced in the early 1970s and was designed to replace the outdated Type 61 tank. While it has since been surpassed by newer tanks in the JGSDF arsenal, it remains an important part of Japan's military history. The mod features a highly-detailed model of the Type 74 sourced from War Thunder, complete with a detailed interior.

The mod includes a working main gun, suspension, tracks, and machine gun, as well as three seats and openable hatches for the turret, driver, and engine. The tank is also equipped with a camo skin created by Sick2day.

To prevent loading screen crashes, make sure to download the CWeaponInfoBlob Limit Adjuster by alexguirre.

Installation is simple - extract the "type74" folder to your Grand Theft Auto V directory, then add the appropriate files to your game using OpenIV. Add the mod to your game by editing the dlclist.xml file located in the common/data folder and adding "dlcpacks:\type74\" to the list. The tank can be spawned in-game using the name "type74."
