The Renault 16 is a classic family car that was first launched in March 1965. It is known for its practical and modern body style, which introduced the concept of the hatchback to the mid-size family segment.

This mod features a highly detailed 3D model made by Iksr, which was originally a high-poly model with over 600k polygons (without engine). The mod creator, Naj Potez, took the model and reduced the number of polygons to 345k, and added LODs (Level of Detail) to improve the performance. The LODs include L1 (Medium, 65k), L2 (Low, 15k), and L3 (Very Low, 550 polygons), providing a more optimized experience for players.

The Renault 16 mod does not include tuning parts, but it features two different versions for the license plates. Even without tuning parts, players will enjoy the classic design and high level of detail in this mod.

To install the mod, simply extract the 'renault16' folder into your 'Grand Theft Auto V/mods/update/x64/dlcpacks' directory. Add the following line to the end of the 'dlclist.xml' file located in 'Grand Theft Auto V/update/update.rpf/common/data' directory or 'Grand Theft Auto V/mods/update/update.rpf/common/data' directory: '< Item>dlcpacks:/renault16/< /Item>'. Save and replace the original 'dlclist.xml' file with the edited one using OpenIV. Use a trainer to spawn the vehicle in-game.
